In an exciting new chapter for Maison Dieu, we're excited to announce our upcoming cafe in the vibrant heart of Broughty Ferry. Situated at 195 Brook Street, DD52AG, sitting across from Gillies, it takes over the space where Tesori Jewellers previously was.
With our grand Broughty Ferry unveiling slated for mid-October, you might be wondering who Maison Dieu are or where we came from...
Here's the gist of it.
Maison Dieu's origins trace back to 2020, in Brechin, where the brand was birthed from a yearning for exceptional coffee in a small town which had none. Inspired by the specialty coffee shops we frequented, and fueled by pure passion and hard work, the dream of creating our own signature coffee quickly became a reality.
By no means was it an easy road. However, following the countless hours of coffee roasting courses, barista classes and investments we put into the business, the initial support we received upon opening our Brechin coffee shop wasn't just encouraging but outright overwhelming.
It anchored our belief in what Maison Dieu could one day become, and even led to the inception of our online store, where we offer handpicked specialty coffee bags, brewing essentials, and bespoke merchandise with more to come in the following weeks and months.
Fast forward to 2023, and Maison Dieu is a household name in quality coffee, with a commendable milestone of over 500,000 cups served. As we gear up to introduce our second outpost in Broughty Ferry, our story takes yet another exhilarating turn.
